The Globe and Mail article The online music industry is exploding.

It’s estimated there are more than two million online artists worldwide, according to a recent study.

And in Canada, a growing number of people are trying to make their mark in this industry.

“There are a lot of talented artists out there who are trying not only to make it as an artist but also make it through the industry,” says Tim Gorman, CEO of The Internet Music Industry Association (IMEA).

Gorman says it’s hard to find a job in the music industry without being online.

He says artists can be hard to get to know, and that the music business has been in the middle of a recession since the late 2000s.

“I don’t think it’s really a surprise that people are getting a little more frustrated with the music landscape,” says Gorman.

He’s been working with a group of online music producers in Vancouver to help them grow their business.

The goal is to help these artists build up a following and gain a leg up in the industry.

It all starts with finding a record label.

Gorman says some artists don’t want to put out music that’s their own, but have to rely on a label to do it.

He believes that this has a lot to do with the fact that it’s difficult to find talent online.

“They have to have their own website, they have to own their own studio, and they have a lot more constraints than most people,” he says.

Gorman’s group of producers and artists, known as the Mimeo Group, has been helping other musicians get into the music world.

They have started a website called Mimeography that provides artists with their music’s information and links.

“It’s all done in real time,” says Mimeographer’s founder, Ryan Smith.

“It’s really just like a social network for musicians.”

Smith says that while he doesn’t have the same type of reach as some artists, he does have a reputation for being a creative force.

“My biggest goal is always to create the next great sound,” he said.

“I just love music.”

The group has started producing music for artists including Drake, who is now working with Mimeographers.

They are also working with labels to promote their music online.

Smith says it helps that they don’t have to worry about being noticed or paid by labels.

“We’re very open and transparent with the labels,” he explains.

“We just give them the music and we get to the point where we can release it online.”

When Smith says artists need a label, he means labels like EMI, Universal Music Group, Warner Bros., and Sony Music Entertainment.

Smith thinks it’s a win-win situation.

“You’re not just going to be paid for your work, you’re also going to have access to people that are going to listen to it and want to hear it,” he explained.

“And they’re going to want to be a part of it.

That’s really exciting.”

The Mimeographic website has been a huge success.

Now, it has helped the group reach more musicians and helped them build their online presence.

They even started a YouTube channel where they showcase their music.

“The MIMEography YouTube channel has been really successful,” says Smith.

The Mimeographics YouTube channel is currently attracting more than 200,000 subscribers and is currently getting hundreds of thousands of views.

“What we really need now is more support and support from labels and distribution companies,” says Adam Trombley, Mimeographical’s CEO.

“They really are the gatekeepers to the music online.”

It’s not just the online music scene that is changing, but also the industry as a whole.

The online advertising business is booming.

It grew by almost 5 per cent in the past 12 months alone.

“A lot of people have been wondering what’s next, what’s going to happen next, but it’s just really exciting to see the industry growing,” says Tromblesy.

“Now, we have a much bigger platform to reach an audience, a lot easier to reach a larger audience.”

Mimeography’s Smith says they’re not the only online music group doing something like this.

He also points to other smaller groups like the Canadian Music Industry Network (CMNI), which has had a huge impact in helping to increase the number of online musicians.”CMNI’s really helping us with the recruitment of talent, and we have our own website that’s really helpful in helping us get our name out there,” he told CBC News.

The CMNI website allows artists to find jobs and is also used by producers and record labels.

“CMNI is really a big thing,” says the group’s founder and CEO, Kevin Smith.

He adds that artists should use CMNI’s website to get their music noticed and get promoted.

“For us, we want to give people an avenue to get out there and get noticed,” says Kevin Smith
